September 26, 2021.- Alianza Sierra Madre and Centro de Derechos Humanos de las Mujeres (Women\u2019s Human Rights Center) to the media: the information issued to various media by the State Attorney General\u2019s Office (FGE) incorrectly states that with the execution of the arrest warrant against Marcelo C.R. and Paulino R.C., they have \u201cfully complied with the resolution of the Inter-American Court of Human Rights (IACHR) to guarantee security and seek justice\u201d for the Rar\u00e1muri community of Chor\u00e9achi (Pino Gordo).<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>We should keep in mind that the members of the Chor\u00e9achi community have been victims of multiple human rights violations as a result of defending their land and natural resources, which is why the Inter-American Court ordered the Mexican State to take collective provisional measures since March 2017.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>We acknowledge that in the murder of Genaro C.C., the FGE is in the process of seeking justice for his family; however, there are other families that are still awaiting truth, justice and reparation. Furthermore, the Mexican State has not resolved the structural causes that led to the insecurity and violence in Chor\u00e9achi.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Lastly, we urge the state and federal governments to coordinate as soon as possible to effectively comply with the Inter-American Court resolution.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Chihuahua, Chih.
